Nicky Hilton brought a playful note to the 39th annual FN Achievement Awards in New York City on Wednesday night, arriving in Manolo Blahnik’s Hangisi 90 pumps in black mesh with white polka dots.

The style featured an almond toe topped with Manolo Blahnik’s square jewel-covered buckle, set against black mesh dotted in white. The mesh ran across the entire forefoot, giving the upper a lighter profile and a clear view of the polka-dot pattern. A black satin counter picked up the structure at the back and moved cleanly into a slim stiletto, creating a solid contrast to the sheer front.
Hilton opted for the mesh variation of the Hangisi, which provides more visibility at the toe and places the buckle directly against the dotted upper.

Hilton is a previous FNAA winner herself, having taken home the Icon Award in 2021 alongside her mother Kathy and sister, Paris. Attending the event last year, she wore a pair of black Aquazzura Bow Tie Pumps. No stranger to the shoe business, she has collaborated with French Sole on footwear.
The 39th annual FN Achievement Awards returned on Wednesday at Cipriani 25 Broadway in New York, celebrating the footwear industry’s top innovators. This year, Pharrell Williams and Adidas received the Shoe of the Year Award, while Tommy Hilfiger was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his lasting impact on fashion. Other honorees included Coco Gauff, Ronnie Fieg, Wolverine Worldwide, Nordstrom, the Jordan Brand and more.
