Teyana Taylor Puts Schiaparelli’s Signature Brass-toe Sneakers on Parade in New York

Teyana Taylor brought a burst of looped texture to the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with her outerwear, but the real twist came courtesy of her gold-tipped sneakers as she performed “Made It” on the “Birds of a Feather Stream Together” float by Peacock.

For the holiday outing, Taylor opted for a pair of sneakers that blended practicality and whimsy. Her Schiaparelli trompe l’oeil canvas sneakers featured a timeless high-top silhouette, infused with Daniel Roseberry’s artistic touch. The bold sneakers featured the house’s signature golden trompe l’oeil toes rendered in brass at the toebox.

Shoes with a distinctive design detail are something of a constant for the singer and actress, along with bold, fashion-forward pieces. Recently, she wore René Caovilla‘s popular wrap-around heels to Elle’s Women In Hollywood event. Earlier this month, she wore Thom Solo Ankle Curve Boots while on the promo tour for her new show “All’s Fair.”

Taylor didn’t let the shoes take center stage of her entire look. She added a dramatic coat to stay warm but also add drama. Her Moncler x Jil Sander coat was entirely covered in cream strands that had a looping structure. She added a white top and headpiece to her outfit, and belted her coat with a gold hardware chain.

The “One Battle After Another” star has been booked and busy lately. Between her Thanksgiving performance, promoting her latest film that costars Leonardo DiCaprio and fresh off her first Grammy nomination, Taylor has been having an exciting last few months.
