The Prime Video drama, which stars Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung as star-crossed lovers Ruby and James, is based on Mona Kasten’s bestselling trilogy of the same name. Like the show, the books — Save Me, Save You, and Save Us — are German. This year, however, Kasten’s books were translated to English for the first time, so English-speaking fans could finally get to know the couple on the page as well as on the screen.
