The trailer for Rana Naidu Season 2 has officially dropped on May 21, and with it, the makers have promised a more intense, personal, and emotionally charged return for the dysfunctional Naidu family. The upcoming season, which is set to premiere on June 13 on Netflix, was launched with a special fan event at Hyderabad’s iconic Prasad Cinema. Lead actors Rana Daggubati and Arjun Rampal were present at the celebration, where they interacted with fans and unveiled a massive poster of the new season.

The crowd was treated to an exclusive first look at the series, heightening buzz for what is poised to be a high-voltage continuation of the gritty thriller. Speaking about the new season, Rana Daggubati said, “Season 2? It’s wild. It’s bigger, and a whole lot more personal. Getting back with Netflix and the entire team of Rana Naidu has been such a blast. We went deeper, got messier, and raised the stakes across the board. It’s everything you loved — turned up to eleven.”
Rana, who reprises his role as the titular fixer, added that returning to Hyderabad to launch the season was particularly meaningful. “The first season received a lot of love from the fans and the audience alike, and I am so glad we could extend the exclusive first look to the fans today. Having Arjun join me today for this celebration is special and means a lot. You’ll see Rana and Rauf at loggerheads in the show, but here, I am ensuring I’m the perfect host.”
Arjun Rampal, who plays Rauf, a fierce new antagonist, opened up about his role, and shared, “It was tough bringing Rauf’s character to life, but the dedication and persistence of Karan Anshuman made it possible. The levity they brought to the character made it a very well-written and layered personality, whom I had a lot of fun playing. He is absolutely fearless. Rana Naidu is going to have a tough time this season, Rauf has ensured that! That was just the character I play, but personally, I’ve gotten along really famously with Rana through the shoot. He is an absolute delight to work with. And so is Venky. In fact, the whole cast has been brilliant. Super talented bunch.”
Rampal further reflected on his experience working with the rest of the team and added, “This is my first show with Netflix and I am super stoked about it. They have been involved and brought a lot to the table for the betterment of the show. This is also a first for me as I have been directed by three directors, Karan, Suparn and Abhay. They are poles apart as individuals but at the same time in complete sync with each other.
