As part of the promotions for De De Pyaar De 2, Rakul Preet Singh and Meezaan sat down for a fun rapid-fire conversation with IMDb, where they ended up revealing some candid details about their relationships — from their most-used emojis to the most dramatic, filmy things they’ve done for love.

During the interaction, Meezaan kicked things off by asking Rakul about the emoji she uses the most while chatting with her husband, Jackky Bhagnani. Rakul didn’t hesitate: “There are a couple… of course heart I always keep putting. Hearts and kisses. And then I love this emoji ???? So I’ll say anything then I’ll be like ????,” she shared, laughing.
Next, Rakul asked Meezaan to reveal the most filmy gesture he has ever made in a relationship — and his answer was right out of a Bollywood script.
“I’ve flown halfway across the world and surprised her and waited outside of her college with like a banner. It was 100% commitment,” he said, describing the moment like a scene from a romantic drama.
When asked the same question, Rakul admitted she has also pulled off her share of grand, filmy gestures. Recalling a time when Jackky was in London while she was shooting elsewhere, she said: “I just had three days off in between, and Jackky was in London at that point. So, I’ve literally gone to London for like… I land in the afternoon at 12pm and at night 10pm is my return flight. So, for a couple of hours just to see him because it was really long. I’ve done that — just spent some time coming out of the airport and then…”
