NEW DELHI: An exchange of fire on Thursday morning broken out between security forces and terrorists in the Singhpora area of Chatroo in Kishtwar district, according to the Jammu & Kashmir Police.The incident comes nearly two weeks after India launched Operation Sindoor, a major counterterror campaign targeting terror bases in Pakistan and PoK.Although hostilities between the two countries de-escalated following a ceasefire agreement on May 10, India has clarified that the operation, initiated on May 7 is “paused, not over,” signalling continued vigilance in its fight against crossborder terrorism.
