Taylor Sheridan’s show, Landman is officially back with a second season on Paramount+. For those who don’t know, the Season 1 of Landman was released on November 17, 2024, and it instantly grabbed a lot of attention because of its high stakes and family drama in the world of Texas oilfields. Recap of Landman Season 1
Landman Season 1 was set in the raw world of West Texas oil. It follows ‘Tommy Norris’ (Billy Bob Thornton), a landman whose job is to secure oil rights and makes deals with landowners. His job is dangerous and stressful, with fights over money, legal problems, and powerful people trying to win at any cost.
The season also featured ‘Monty Miller’ (Jon Hamm), who is the boss of the company, but has a deteriorating health. In the show, ‘Tommy’ is also seen dealing with his personal life. In around 10 episodes, the show featured multiple problems on oil sites including accidents, legal troubles and more. Towards the end, ‘Tommy’ is forced to be the top leader.
When and where to watch all the episodes of Landman Season 2
For those who don’t know, the first episode of Landman Season 2 was released on November 16, 2025, and is available on Paramount+. Season 2 of the show will have 10 episodes and new episodes will be released every Sunday. The second episode will be released on November 23, 2025, third episode on November 30, 2025, fourth episode on December 7, 2025 and so on. The finale episode will be released on January 18, 2026. All the episodes will be available for streaming exclusively on Paramount+.

The popular show, Landman, is created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, and it is reportedly based on the Boomtown podcast. The main cast of Landman Season 2 includes Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Sam Elliott, Andy García and more.
After setting the tone in Season 1, the current season is expected to bring more tension, with bigger fights, more family tension and wider threats. ‘Tommy’, who is now at a top position, is now supposed to handle politics, pressure and own family problems. Season 2 is also expected to have more challenges and new alliances.
