Pamela Anderson has entered a new style era. The 57-year-old “Baywatch” actress ditched her fringe and debuted a fresh cut and curl in New York City on Tuesday.

Anderson was photographed downtown with short, bouncy blond waves tucked behind her ears, a far cry from the hairstyle she had at the Met Gala three weeks prior. Her bangs, which she previously brushed flat on her forehead, were teased and swept to the side of her face. She wore black, cat-eye sunglasses and a floor-length, short-sleeve knit dress.

Later that afternoon, Anderson was seen donning the messy curls again, this time while wearing a floppy white sun hat, a crisp button-down, a matching skirt with floral cutouts, and pointed-toe pumps.

Just a few weeks ago, Anderson posed outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art with a flipped bob and micro bangs. Up until then, “The Last Showgirl” star had always kept her blond hair long and wavy. She previously told WWD her favorite kind of hairstyle is when she lets her hair dry overnight while she’s sleeping.

At the Met Gala, she also continued her habit of boasting a no-makeup makeup look on the red carpet, donning only a light layer of peach-colored blush on her cheekbones.

Anderson has been very candid about her decision to pare down her makeup since her return to the spotlight in 2023 with the release of her memoir, “Love, Pamela,” and her Netflix documentary, “Pamela, a Love Story.” For her WWD cover shoot that year, styled by Alex Badia and Heather Hazzan, she opted to be photographed with a fresh face because she said she felt more “powerful” that way.

“I like to see my freckles. I like when my hair isn’t done,” she said. “I don’t like those injections, and that doesn’t work on me.”

Of her natural appearance, Anderson said: “That’s my favorite. That’s my look. And I feel like that is a power statement because I’m accepting myself a lot more these days.”

Her move to a bare aesthetic also came after her longtime makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, died of breast cancer in 2019. Vogel was responsible for Anderson’s trademark 1990s glam, featuring smoky eye shadow, ultra-thin brows, and a nude lipstick.
