Converse and Tyler, the Creator have joined forces again for The 1908 Program, a collection that revives archival styles that represent Converse’s history and how it has influenced present-day sneaker culture. The 1908 Program is breathing new life into designs Converse introduced decades ago, with Tyler and his brand Le Fleur* curating the new collection’s first silhouettes.

The long-term partners stepped into the Converse Archive for inspiration, and to start, they are releasing the Naut-1 boat shoe and the Coach Jogger, which each represents a distinct chapter in the brand’s legacy. With the help of the rapper’s unique creative vision, the collection offers a fresh take on the beloved archival styles.
The footwear company announced the new release via Instagram, writing: “Converse introduced the Coach Jogger in 1976. Le Fleur* pulled it out of the archives for an update.”
The Coach Jogger features a sleek and athletic design, featuring a low-profile and streamlined look. The sneaker comes in three colorblock colorways, including mustard, green and ocean blue. Tyler teased the style in November, wearing them to the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix’s “Piano Lesson,” which he attended to support director Malcolm Washington. He wore the Forest Shade + Green colorway.
The second release is the Naut-1, a bold reinvention of the classic boat shoe, blending Tyler’s aesthetic with comfort and style. The Naut-1 and Coach Jogger will be available in a limited global release on June 20.

Marquis Mills Converse founded the Converse Rubber Shoe Company in Malden, Mass in 1908. The company initially focused on rubber footwear like galoshes, but later expanded into athletic shoes, including basketball and lifestyle shoes like the omnipresent Chuck Taylor All Star. The Converse Archive houses the company’s journey and the designs, prototypes and production samples that tell its unique and triumphant story.

Golf le Fleur started in 2017 initially as a collaboration between Tyler and Converse. It has since evolved into a separate, standalone luxury brand called Le Fleur*, which sells apparel and shoes in a pastel colored palette. The company has now had collaborations with other brands, including Lacoste and Schott NYC. Le Fleur* is the rapper’s third fashion project. He also released goods under Odd Future and the skate-inspired label Golf Wang he launched in 2013.
“I collab with the people who make shit that I like and I’m like, able to put my own twist on it,” the creative told WWD at a le Fleur event in 2023.
