The performance, shared online by JD Majethia, captured the deep affection that Shah’s loved ones had for him. Sonu dedicated the song to Shah’s wife, Madhu, who is currently battling Alzheimer’s, and even invited her to sing a few lines towards the end — a gesture that left everyone present visibly moved.
Sharing the video on social media, JD Majethia wrote, “Celebrating life of #satishshah was the intention to give him the befitting tribute from Family & friends. His favourite songs chosen over usual bhajans keeping his preference in mind were sung. This song was also to convey what Madhu bhabi’s last words of the songs are, WATCH IT TILL THE END to know what we all wish to promise #satishshah. Hum sang hai …”
Staying true to Shah’s spirited nature, the gathering focused on celebrating his life rather than mourning his loss.
