The post quickly drew reactions from fans and colleagues, who celebrated the coming together of two of the most beloved action stars in global cinema.
Meanwhile, Hrithik has been making headlines for multiple reasons lately. Earlier this month, he announced his maiden production venture — Storm, an Amazon Prime Video original series marking his debut as a producer. Additionally, War 2, which stars Hrithik reprising his role as Kabir, recently arrived on Netflix. Following its OTT release, the actor penned a reflective note about his experience filming the project, calling it one of his most effortless yet introspective performances.
He wrote, “Playing Kabir was so much fun. So relaxed, knew him so well. It was going to be easy. Finally a movie I could do like so many others do — keep it simple, play the actor, do your job and come home. And it was exactly that… but something was lurking behind that presumptuous certainty… a voice that I kept shutting out… ‘this is too easy… I know this too well.’”
On the professional front, Hrithik is yet to announce updates on his highly anticipated Krrish 4, which will reportedly mark his directorial debut, and a collaboration with Hombale Films that remains under wraps.
