Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan skipped the Guns N’ Roses concert in Mumbai to enjoy quality time at home with Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur, calling them her “mini band.”

On Monday, Kareena Kapoor took to Instagram to share why she wasn’t feeling any FOMO after skipping the much-anticipated Guns N’ Roses concert in Mumbai, with a heartwarming reason – family time. She posted an Instagram Story featuring Saif Ali Khan and their son Taimur jamming on guitars, captured candidly through a doorway, beautifully framing the father-son moment.
Along with the image, Kareena wrote, “Might have missed Guns N Roses…” She later shared the same photo in black and white on her Stories, adding, “But I got my own band people” followed by fire, heart, and smiling face with hearts emojis.
The photo showed Saif standing beside Taimur, who was seated on a stool, as his father patiently guided him on the guitar. Taimur’s face was not visible, as he was turned away from the camera.
After 13 years, legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses returned to India, performing at Mumbai’s Mahalakshmi Race Course on May 17. The core lineup of Axl Rose (vocals, piano), Slash (lead guitar), and Duff McKagan (bass) was joined by touring members Richard Fortus, Dizzy Reed, Melissa Reese, and Isaac Carpenter. On stage, Axl praised the “power-packed audience” and said, “How you doing? It’s good to see you again Mumbai.” The setlist featured fan favorites like ‘Sweet Child o’ Mine’, ‘November Rain’, ‘Live and Let Die’, and ‘You Could Be Mine’.
Kareena is set to star in Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar, with Prithviraj Sukumaran also playing a lead role.
