Instagram chief Adam Mosseri recently visited India, where he not only discussed content trends but also explored local culture, one bite at a time.
Mosseri appeared on the podcast Moment of Silence, hosted by Indian creators Naina Bhan and Sakshi Shivdasani, where he tried a selection of Indian snacks and sweets.
A short clip, shared by the official handle of the podcast, showed a light-hearted break from tech talk, with the Meta executive reacting candidly to each flavour.
He began with Lay’s Magic Masala chips, saying, “It’s tasty; I thought it was going to be crazy spicy.” He then tried Kaaju Barfi and called it “very tasty”, followed by laddoos, which he seemed to enjoy even more.
Recalling how his children might react to the sweets, Mosseri said, “My kids would steal a bunch, except for the middle one, as he doesn’t like sweets.”

Before his podcast appearance, Mosseri was welcomed at the WAVES 2025 summit in Mumbai, a global event focused on the audio-visual and entertainment industries.
It is safe to say that Adam Mosseri’s short visit gave a taste of India that extended beyond algorithms and straight into people’s hearts.
