As per the same fan-run site, it was Dan who later claimed that the video was intended as a prank video on April Fool’s Day, wherein Phil expressed his love for him. On February 13, 2010, the video was uploaded to Phil’s LessAmazingPhil channel, and they had an intention to make their relationship public on April Fool’s Day, as reported. Allegedly, the video accidentally got posted and was made public in September 2011 due to a glitch. The video reportedly remained on the site for several hours, and a number of people had already watched the video.
According to the same site, during that time, Phil personally reached out to the viewers to explain that the video was never intended to be made public and was a prank video that was ultimately scrapped. He further asked the viewers not to repost or share the clips from the video, as reported by the site. To mention, there’s no confirmation of such an incident taking place, and it’s entirely based on the duo’s fans’ theories and claims.
