As Bigg Boss 19 continues to stir conversations both inside and outside the house, former contestant Zeeshan Qadari has addressed the ongoing social media buzz around Salman Khan allegedly favoring music composer Amaal Mallik. Speaking out after his eviction, Zeeshan offered a different perspective, defending the show’s host and providing insight into what viewers may not have seen on-screen.

In recent weeks, fans on social media have raised concerns about what they perceive as bias toward Amaal Mallik by the show’s host and producers. However, Zeeshan strongly disagreed with those claims. “Bigg Boss is an emotional battlefield. No one knows when the game will shift. If a contestant feels something unfair has happened, that’s part of the experience. But that doesn’t always mean there’s actual bias,” Zeeshan explained. He added, “Didn’t you all see Amaal being grilled by Salman sir? So much was said to him—he even broke down and was in tears. But maybe not everything was aired. Where was the talk of favoritism then?”
On the “Bully Gang” Narrative
Zeeshan also addressed the ongoing narrative that a “bully gang” existed in the house, with himself allegedly being one of the ringleaders. “I was called the leader of that so-called gang. I want to ask viewers—who did I actually bully? Even those in the other group respected me. Contestants like Abhishek and Ashnoor—just two days after nominating me—felt bad about it,” he said. He questioned the way audiences have formed judgments based on selective footage and online commentary, emphasizing that the real dynamics inside the house are often more nuanced.
Reflecting on His Bigg Boss Journey
Reflecting on his time in the house, Zeeshan shared that he was proud of the way he stood up for what he believed in. “Even Salman bhai said I was the only contestant who raised my voice for the right reasons,” he stated. “My only regret is that I didn’t recognize the true faces of some contestants earlier. If I had, things might have turned out very differently.”
Zeeshan also referenced how other contestants, like Awez Darbar, received wake-up calls during the show from guests like Gauahar Khan. He felt that he missed a similar moment of clarity. “From day one, I’ve always maintained that everyone comes from good families. There was a group, there was banter. They teased me, I teased them back—it was part of the show. But if I had seen their reality earlier, I would’ve dealt with it differently,” he said. “Send me back in, and then they’ll understand what real strength looks like.”
