Abhishek nominated Amaal, and when it was Amaal’s turn, he returned the nomination. However, while feeding the pani puri to Abhishek, Amaal appeared to get overly aggressive—pushing the water-filled puri into his mouth and pressing on his lips in the process.
This unexpected gesture angered Abhishek, who immediately reacted by pushing Amaal away. The situation quickly escalated into a verbal argument, with fellow contestant Baseer Ali stepping in to support Amaal. During the altercation, Amaal was heard saying, “Ghar ka saara gand khaata hai, yeh bhi khaale” (You consume all the mess in the house; eat this too). Abhishek, visibly upset, responded, “Mooh pe haath kyun lagaya?” (Why did you touch my face?) before shoving Amaal in frustration.
Gauahar Khan Reacts to Amaal’s Behaviour
Following the episode, Gauahar Khan, who won Bigg Boss Season 7 in 2013, took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her disapproval of Amaal’s conduct during the task. She wrote, “How dare someone touch another person’s face? Almost squeezing lips? What is this? Provocation through touch is physical. Isn’t that simple? Pull Amaal up, or let everyone loose like animals to hit each other.” In another post, she added: “If this is allowed, where do you draw the line? Where is it written that it’s okay to touch someone’s body in any form? Now who charges for forehead touches? Was this not provocative?”
Kamya Punjabi Also Shares Her View
Actor Kamya Punjabi, who also participated in Bigg Boss Season 7, weighed in on the matter through social media. She posted, “What Amaal did was completely inappropriate. It was unnecessary and uncalled for… and so was Baseer.”
Gauahar’s Previous Criticism of Amaal
This incident isn’t the first time Gauahar has called out Amaal Mallik. Just last month, she criticized him for what she described as a disrespectful tone during an interaction with fellow contestant Kunickaa Sadanand.
