Alec Baldwin crashed his car into a tree in the Hamptons on Monday afternoon.
The hood of the actor’s white Range Rover appeared significantly damaged by the large tree in pictures exclusively obtained by Page Six. Baldwin, 67, was with his brother, Stephen Baldwin.
The actor spoke to a police officer on the scene and did not appear to be injured.
Baldwin, wearing a gray polo shirt and pants, stood by his damaged vehicle and made a call on his cellphone. The father of eight also stuck his hands in his pocket at one point, and appeared somber.
Reps for Baldwin and and East Hampton PD didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
We hear that Baldwin has been in the area for the Hamptons International Film Festival, which started on Oct. 5. The closing night was Sunday, Oct. 13.
The actor is a co-chair on the Board Executive Committee.
“He has been out there all week, he attended films and moderated panels,” a source tells Page Six.
The actor later took to Instagram to address the crash, revealing it was actually his wife Hilaria Baldwin’s car he crashed because he was cut off by a massive garbage truck.
Baldwin took a break from the Hamptons festival on Saturday to pop over to the Buffalo Film Festival, where he shared video of himself eating dinner in Buffalo, NY.
He appeared to be in good spirits, raving about the Asian fusion food he ate.
Baldwin was photographed at the Hamptons Film Festival Friday and appeared to go to the Buffalo Film Festival Saturday. He and Stephen were then photographed back at the Hamptons Film Festival on Sunday.
Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, recently shut down rumors of marital woes after being spotted without her wedding ring. She cuddled a toy version of her husband’s “Beetlejuice” character before sticking out her tongue and telling fans not to fret.
“Don’t worry Cammy, got my Alec stand in here while he is gone working 😂,” Hilaria captioned the playful video.
“And [my] ring is right here,” she clarified. “tho I don’t wear to practice because it hurts with the crazy stuff we are doing 🤣.”
Alec also showed his support for Hilaria, 41, after she was shockingly eliminated on “Dancing With the Stars.”
“I want to say I love you, Hilaria, and I’m proud of you,” Alec said in an Instagram video. “It’s been wonderful for the family to be able to support you as you support us every day. This has been such a large part of your life, and this is a dream come true for you.”
“So congratulations and never stop dancing,” he added. “Never stop dancing, Hilaria. I love you so.”
Alec and Hilaria share seven children together — Carmen, 11, Rafael, 10 Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 4, María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 2. He also shares daughter Ireland Baldwin, 29, with ex Kim Basinger.
