Keith Urban’s guitarist, Maggie Baugh, teased her new song, “The Devil Win,” and it includes lyrics about fighting feelings as romance rumors continue to swirl around her and Urban.
Baugh shared a clip of her singing a snippet of the track on Instagram Thursday. The lyrics include, “I don’t know what the hell I believe in / I don’t know how to heal my soul / Or how to fight this feeling and it’s a damn good place to go.”
Baugh also sings, “No matter how close I get to the burning edge / Tempting as it is, I won’t let the Devil win.”
The 25-year-old musician wore a white silk button-down shirt in the video, which she paired with black shorts, sheer tights and knee-high boots. She wore her long brunette hair down under a tan cowboy hat.
Baugh was dragged into romance rumors with Urban, 57, following his shocking split from Nicole Kidman, 58, after 19 years of marriage. The rumors started after flirty on-stage moments resurfaced between her and the fellow country crooner.
In the months leading up to Kidman filing for divorce from Urban, he and his band performed “The Fighter” — a song Urban wrote for Kidman. During an April performance, Urban sang the lyrics, “I was born to love you,” as he looked and pointed at Baugh.
During a more recent performance, he changed the lyrics from “When they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter” to “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.”
One day before Urban and Kidman’s separation revelation, Baugh posted a video of the lyric change on Instagram and captioned it, “Did he just say that👀?”
Rumors that Baugh and Urban are romantically involved remain unconfirmed. Her father, Chuck Baugh, spoke to the Daily Mail last week and said he had “not heard one way or the other.”
“I don’t know anything about it, other than she’s a guitar player for him,” Chuck said.
“It’s more of a musician thing than a dating thing,” he continued.
In a resurfaced interview from 2017, Maggie said she was against band romances.
“There’s always been a rule, ‘You can’t date the band members,’ ’cause like what happens if we break up and then I lost the drummer,” she told “Piper’s Picks TV.”
Meanwhile, TMZ previously reported that Urban has already moved on with another woman after his split from Kidman.
“All the signs point to the fact that Keith is with another woman,” multiple sources close to the “Big Little Lies” actress told the outlet.
“Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.”
One insider even claimed, “It’s all over Nashville.”
