Clarks Originals and Sandro have teamed up on a fall 2025 collaboration, which offers a Parisian take on British heritage and craftsmanship. The collection for men and women reinterprets two classic shoe styles: the Desert Boot, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, and the Wallabee.
The men’s Wallabee has been refreshed with refined materials and clean lines. Set upon Clarks’ signature crepe sole, this style is offered in sand suede calfskin, cognac leather or chocolate pony-effect hide. The look, which was celebrated with the second annual Wallabee Day on April 26, was launched in 1968 and found popularity in many subcultures including the Mod movement and the hip-hop world.
Next, a women’s version of the Desert Boot is presented in beige shearling or cowhide-effect leather. Celebrating a milestone this year, the Desert Boot was invented by Nathan Clark in 1950, taking inspiration from a model found in a Cairo bazaar.

The collection launches Friday in the Sandro Champs Elysée store and French online store, and debuts in the U.S. digitally on Tuesday and in stores on Wednesday.

I think this is where both brands are finding a common ground: creating wardrobe staples, effortlessly cool with an unisex look, mixing classic and modern elements with an edge.”
