Taylor Swift recalled how glammed-up Zoë Kravitz destroyed her Beverly Hills home when the actress lost a pet Burmese python while she was the pop icon’s houseguest during the deadly California wildfires.
“I just remember getting a call from my head of security trying to explain this story to me, and my first question was, ‘What snake?’” Swift said on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” Wednesday night. “I was unaware of the presence of the snake.”
Swift, who name-dropped Kravitz and her famous mother, Lisa Bonet, was amused by the situation after “The Cosby Show” alum lost her Burmese python, Orpheus, in the singer’s home.
Orpheus had managed to slither into a hole in the wall and became stuck in one of the estate’s bathrooms as Bonet was washing her face.
The duo was holding onto the slippery snake that managed to get half its body in a wall as an axe-wielding man chopped part of a “vintage antique cupboard” in Swift’s home.
“This is the chicest thing I ever heard in my life,” Swift exclaimed. “This is a YSL ad and not a problem. It just sounds incredible, I’m sad I didn’t see it.”
Swift said she could picture Kravitz and Benet’s “elite cheekbones” as they attempted to capture the elder’s elusive snake.
Kravitz called Swift three weeks later, after the house was repaired, to confess to the incident and destruction.
“Hey, I’m just gonna tell you something that happened, now that it’s fixed,” Swift recalled Kravitz telling her.
“I was like, ‘You had a snake in the house and it got loose and it was in the wall and they had to get an axe,” Swift confronted her friend.
Kravitz was upset her rescue mission was reported before she could tell the singer.
“I can’t even be mad,” Swift said.
The 14-time Grammy winner opened up her lavish, $25 million Beverly Hills mansion to the mother-daughter duo after their home was devastated by the deadly wildfires in California.
Kravitz kept the “secret” from Swift for three weeks, the exact amount of time needed to fix the busted cupboard, but the singer already knew.
“Dude, I’ve been laughing about this for three weeks,” Swift said.
The pop star, 35, has made several media appearances while promoting her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which was released on Oct. 3.
On Monday, she sparkled in a crystal-studded minidress while appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
She addressed the raunchy lyrics about her fiancé, Travis Kelce, in her new song, “Wood,” and reflected on how “nervous” the NFL player was before asking for her hand in marriage.
Swift also shut down the rumor that she turned down a chance at headlining the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show due to her not being allowed to own the footage.
She also clarified, “This is nothing to do with Travis; he would love for me to do it! I’m just too locked in.”
The singer then discussed Selena Gomez’s wedding with Fallon, denying reports that she made a joke about her bestie beating her to the alter while giving a speech at the reception.
“I did make a speech, but I actually made a point not to mention anything about my engagement,” she said.
“I did do some light teasing about the way we used to dress in 2008 — the year we met. Because we met when we were teenagers and 2008 was quite a year, let me tell you. I talked a little about 2008, how happy I am for her and how beautiful it’s been getting to be a part of her life, but I did not make it about me.”
After her twelfth studio album dropped, Swift also appeared on “The Graham Norton Show” as well as several radio shows, including Z100 and BBC Radio 2’s “The Scott Mills Breakfast Show.”
In an interview with Kiss FM, Swift revealed that she included more than 100 Easter eggs in her “The Fate of Ophelia” music video, while she told Z100’s Elvis Duran that there are “definitely some theories that are based in absolutely nothing close to reality.”
