Amidst the film’s growing success, Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Bhupender Yadav met with National Award-winning actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty in Delhi. The meeting served as a gesture of appreciation, not only for the film’s commercial achievement but also for its effort to promote environmental awareness through storytelling. Sharing a photo from their meeting on social media, Minister Yadav wrote: “Met National Award-winning actor and director Rishab Shetty in Delhi today. Released worldwide on October 2, 2025, Kantara: Chapter 1 is set in the 4th century AD and explores the mythical roots of the land of Kantara.
