In a new promo shared by the makers, Malti appears to struggle with making chapatis, which leads to a tense exchange with fellow contestant Gaurav Khanna.

The promo opens with housemates requesting Malti to take on the responsibility of making chapatis. In response, she admits that it has been years since she last made them and that she’s unsure of the process now. Contestant Neha Chudasama offers to teach her, asking Malti to at least try. She adds that if Malti really cannot manage, she will take over.
Malti begins rolling the dough but soon asks for help with cooking the chapatis on the stove. However, Kunickaa Sadanand firmly declines to step in. Neha then explains that whoever takes on chapati-making typically handles the full process from start to finish.
The situation escalates when Kunickaa suggests that Malti make bigger chapatis. Gaurav Khanna then asks Nehal to demonstrate how to make a couple for Malti. This suggestion doesn’t sit well with Malti, who responds, “Aap mat boliye Gaurav Ji, hum kar lenge. Ya to phir aap kar lijiye.” (You don’t have to say anything, Gaurav Ji. We’ll manage. Or you can do it yourself.) Gaurav replies, “Aapko thoda problem zyada lag raha hai. Main hoon food team me, chopping team me, main bol sakta hai.” (You seem to have a lot of issues. I’m part of the food and chopping team, so I have the right to speak.)
As the conversation continues, the camera briefly shows the chapatis made by Malti, which appear slightly burnt. Contestant Neelam Giri finds the situation amusing and later shares the incident with Zeishan Quadri and Amaal Mallik, laughing about it. Amaal, with a grin, comments, “Accha khiladi aaya hai.” (A strong player has entered.)
