Punjabi singer, Rajvir Jawanda’s tragic death has come as one of the most shocking news for the Punjabi entertainment industry. The singer who met with a serious accident on September 27, 2025, was on a ventilator for 11 days. While his fans, friends, and family relentlessly prayed for him, there was little hope that the singer would survive. However, on October 8, 2025, news about Rajvir’s death surfaced in the media, and since then, the entire industry has been mourning.
What was the real cause of Rajvir Jawanda’s death?
As per the latest reports, Rajvir Jawanda’s condition was very critical when he was rushed to Mohali’s Fortis Hospital. During a conversation with the media, singer, Mankirat Aulakh revealed that Rajvir’s spine was broken at two points after the accident. Additionally, an MRI of the spinal cord revealed significant damage to the cervical regions, which led to his limbs being unresponsive.
Not just this, the singer also had a broken neck because of which the oxygen supply to his brain was not adequate. Rajvir was on life support for the past 11 days, and his condition only worsened with time.
What caused Rajvir Jawanda’s accident?
Rajvir Jawanda went on a trip to Shimla with a group of 5-6 biker friends. The singer was riding a 1300cc bike at the time of the incident, which took place in Baddi. During the ride, Rajvir’s bike collided with a wild animal, after which he lost control. While other riders escaped with minor injuries, Rajvir was critically injured.
Though the medical team at the hospital had been sharing updates on Rajvir’s condition, however, they have been completely silent for the last couple of days after announcing that the singer has almost no brain activity and is at risk of organ failure.
Rajvir Jawanda’s death after 11 days of a fatal accident
After 11 days on a ventilator, Rajvir finally bid adieu to the world on October 8, 2025. The news of his death was confirmed by popular Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi, who shared the news and wrote, “Haye O merya Rabbaa. Dhakka karta”.
Actress Neeru Bajwa also took to her social media handle to share the news, expressing her grief at the loss of such a talented individual. Rajvir’s family is yet to release a statement about his passing. Neeru Bajwa penned:
“Heartbroken by the tragic loss of such a young and promising life. Sending deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of @rajvirjawandaofficial. May you find strength and peace during this unimaginable time. Gone far too soon, but never forgotten.”
