After reuniting in 2021 and getting married the subsequent year, the couple’s divorce was officially finalized in January of this year.
However, Ben is officially credited as an executive producer on J.Lo’s upcoming musical crime drama. She recently said on CBS Sunday Morning, “I told him, ‘This is a role that I was born to play,’ and I wanted to do it, and he said, ‘Okay,’ and he helped make it happen.”
According to People, he even introduced last night’s screening, calling J.Lo “incredible” and saying, “My goal was to empower great artists and tell moving stories and great opportunities for these kinds of great stories to be told and to work with the best directors in the world and the best material.”
Jennifer, for her part, said that the movie “wouldn’t have been made without Ben and without Artists Equity,” the studio cofounded by Ben and Matt Damon.
