    Dwayne and Emily’s movie, The Smashing Gun, did not fare well at the box office. According to a report by the Deadline, Dwayne charged USD 4 million to play the role of Mark Kerr. The amount charged by the actor is less than USD 20 million, which he usually takes for his roles. According to another report by Forbes, Johnson is known to make USD 20 million per movie, which also includes the profits from the back end. Reports also state that Dwayne always wants a seven-figure deal for social media promotions in movies he does.

    Emily Blunt, Ryan Bader, Oleksandr Usyk and more stars’ fees from The Smashing Machine revealed

    According to a site called Showbiz Galore, Emily reportedly took USD 10 million for the movie. While Emily and Dwayne are seen in main roles, the supporting cast includes Ryan Bader, Bas Rutten, Oleksandr Usyk and many more. Ryan played ‘Mark Coleman’ and reportedly took USD 50,000. Bas Rutten on the other side took USD 250,000 while Oleksandr Usyk who played ‘Igor Vovchanchyn’ charged USD 200,000 in the movie. There is also Satoshi Ishii, who charged USD 120,000, according to the publication.

It was during the premiere of the movie in Los Angeles that she praised the actor and shared that he is endlessly joyful to see others win. Emily said:

    “Oh my God, he’s just the best friend. He is endlessly joyful about other people’s successes. He’s innately kind. He’s wise. He gives incredible advice.“

    Dwayne, a while back, took to his Instagram handle and shared from deep in his grateful bones that he is thankful to all who watched his movie. The star did agree that in his profession, box office numbers could not be controlled, but for him, the film was an opportunity. He shared:

    “In our storytelling world, you can’t control box office results — but what I realised is that you can control your performance, and your commitment to completely disappear and go elsewhere.  And I will always run to that opportunity.  It was my honor to transform in this role for my director Benny Safdie @bowedtie. Thank you brother for believing in me.”
