    Murder in a Small Town

The latest case for Gibson’s police chief Karl Alberg (Rossif Sutherland) takes on special poignancy, with the late Malcolm-Jamal Warner appearing in his final performance before his untimely, tragic accidental drowning death in Costa Rica in July. Warner plays Richard Bannister, a dad whose determination to shield his daughter from his ex-wife makes him a prime suspect when the ex is found murdered. Also guest-starring: William B. Davis, best known as the Cigarette Smoking Man on The X-Files, as a retired sea captain with a familial connection to the crime.

    Alien: Earth

    Alien: Earth

A mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth in this prequel to the legendary sci-fi film. Created by Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion), Alien: Earth is the first TV series in the franchise’s 45+ year history. It’s the year 2120, two years before the events of the original 1979 film, and Earth is dominated by rival mega-corporations locked in a technological arms race. When the vessel crashes, alien horrors onboard remind humanity it’s far from the top of the interstellar food chain. All 8 episodes of the first season are now streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.

Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now

Music sustained legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne through good and bad times. “The best medicine I ever had,” the late entertainer says during candid interviews in an inspiring music documentary that follows Ozzy, his supportive family and friends in the final years of his life, culminating in his triumphant final performance in July at the Black Sabbath “Back to the Beginning” concert in Birmingham, England, just weeks before he passed away at 76. “He had a brilliant career, and it ended in a brilliant way,” says his wife, Sharon, who stood by him through the end.

    Red Alert

Premiering exactly two years after the horrific October 7 terrorist attack on Israel, which led to the devastating war in Gaza, a four-part docudrama relives the tragedy and the heroism of one of history’s darkest days. The limited series weaves personal stories from survivors to depict the chaos when Hamas terrorists stormed an open-air music festival and tore families from their homes near the Gaza border, killing more than 1,200 and taking 251 hostages.

    Dancing With the Stars

Once again, the dance competition is asking fans to “Be Our Guest” as the 11 remaining couples take the floor on “Disney Night.” The lineup includes cha-cha, foxtrot, jazz, salsa, Viennese waltz, and quickstep routines to music from Disney-branded films and attractions — and even a tune from Hamilton (which airs on Disney+). The evening opens with a routine set to “Be Our Guest” choreographed by Mandy Moore and featuring Broadway veteran Danny Gardner, who’s starring as Lumiere in a North American stage tour of Beauty and the Beast.

Frankie A. Rodriguez and Glen Powell in 'Chad Powers' Season 1

    Disney / Daniel Delgado Jr.

    Chad Powers

Can Chad Powers (Glen Powell) — real name Russ Holliday — save the day in this goofy sports comedy? Disguised as a hayseed walk-on player, the disgraced quarterback in disguise is raring to take the field in the college football season opener against Ole Miss. But first, he and his conspirator/mascot Danny (Frankie Rodriguez) will have to sideline the incompetent QB Gerry (Colton Ryan) and overcome Coach Hudson’s (Steve Zahn) reservations. Coach’s daughter, Ricky (Perry Mattfield), has a play in her back pocket that no one is paying attention to — except Chad. Will it be enough? Stay tuned for a cameo from Eli Manning, whose masquerade stunt on Eli’s Places inspired this cheerfully cornball series.
