SiriusXM and SmartLess Media are launching a new podcast from Jenny Slate, Max Silvestri and Gabe Liedman. 

The longtime friends and comedians will host I Need You Guys, in which the three catch up on each others’ lives and also welcome guests into the chat. The guest lineup so far includes John Mulaney, Nick Kroll, Michelle Buteau, Kate Berlant, Kumail Nanjiani, Sean Hayes, Jason Mantzoukas, Ron Funches and more. 

The new show was announced during SiriusXM’s Built With Audio event in New York Monday. The first episode is set to air Oct. 21. 

“Starting a podcast where you talk about stuff that happened with people you’ve known a long time is one of the most vulnerable things a human can do, and we’re proud to be the first three people to ever do it. Thank you to SmartLess Media and SiriusXM for handling all the aspects of making the podcast that, if left to us, would end our friendship,” Slate, Silvestri and Liedman said. 

Slate, known for her creation of Marcel The Shell With Shoes On, was recently Emmy nominated for her role in the FX series Dying for Sex. Liedman, showrunner of Hulu’s Pen15, recently wrapped writing for Apple TV+’s Loot and is currently working on the upcoming Muppets special for Disney+. Silvestri is executive producer on the upcoming HBO series I Love LA, starring Rachel Sennott, and has written on several TV shows in addition to appearing in shows such as The Good Place and Broad City. 

New episodes will be released every Tuesday and distributed widely, in addition to on the SirusXM App. SiriusXM will also have exclusive ad sale rights to the show. 

This is the latest show included under SmartLess Media banner, after We Need a Fourth and Staying Alive. SmartLess, hosted by Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes, signed a more than $100 million deal with SiriusXM in 2024.
