    Bliss Celebrates 25 Years of ‘Gilmore Girls’

    Bliss is celebrating two milestones with one limited-edition launch.

    Honoring 30 years in business and the 25th anniversary of “Gilmore Girls,” the cruelty-free skin care brand has teamed up with Warner Bros. to drop four stock keeping units with collectible packaging inspired by the fan-favorite fall series, which follows the mother-daughter relationship between Lorelai Gilmore and Rory Gilmore, played by Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel respectively. Kelly Bishop, the actress who plays Lorelai’s mom Emily Gilmore on the show, is the sole ambassador for the collection. This is the first time Bliss has partnered with a TV show.

    Available now, the products include the Pumpkin Powerhouse Resurfacing and Exfoliating Mask and Spa Headband Duo, priced at $24; the Bright Idea Brightening Serum and Moisturizer Duo, priced at $36; the Lemon and Sage Body Butter Maximum Moisture Cream, priced at $18, and the Pumpkin Powerhouse Soothing & Exfoliating Lip Mask, priced at $15. Details in the packaging of each product nod to major themes, characters and sets in the show, such as Rory Gilmore’s Chilton uniform, Lorelai Gilmore’s The Dragonfly Inn and Luke’s Diner.

    “The packaging is adorable and something that immediately brings me back to my days on the show and in that world,” Bishop told WWD. “I love that this skin care collection allows fans to experience a little piece of Stars Hollow in their everyday routine — it’s whimsical, a touch luxurious and honestly, it’s just very sweet. Gilmore Girls has been such a meaningful part of so many people’s lives for 25 years, and to be part of a collaboration that celebrates that legacy feels both fun and a little sentimental.”

    The collection will feature collectible packaging inspired by the series.

    Bishop gave the Bliss collection the Emily Gilmore stamp of approval, specifically the Bright Idea Brightening Serum and Moisturizer Duo. “They are high-quality but not overly fussy. She [Emily Gilmore] wouldn’t have time for that. I can imagine her keeping them as part of her daily ritual, appreciating both the results and the little indulgence they bring,” Bishop said.

    Over the last few years, “Gilmore Girls” has become synonymous with fall, prompting many to tune in to the series as soon as the season begins. The release of this collaboration comes as longtime fans of the show gear up for their annual rewatch.
