Bollywood actor Bobby Deol marked three decades in the film industry on Monday with a heartfelt celebration among fans and paparazzi. The 56‑year‑old, known today for his acclaimed role in Netflix’s The Ba***ds of Bollywood recently, chose to mark the occasion by cutting a cake in front of the paparazzi.

Bobby made his acting debut with Barsaat, which released on October 6, 1995, under the direction of Rajkumar Santoshi and with Twinkle Khanna entering the industry the same year in her own debut. Bobby took to social media to express his gratitude, writing a note to fans, “30 years of many emotions on and off screen … all made worthwhile by your love. That fire still burns and I am just getting started.” He also posted a montage of his past roles, featuring glimpses from Barsaat, Soldier, Gupt, Humraaz, Class of ’83, Aashram, Animal, and, of course, The Ba***ds of Bollywood.

During the cake‑cutting moment, Bobby was surrounded by fans and paparazzi who joined in celebrating his journey. His colleagues and peers took to social media to congratulate him.
