    Maharashtra Board to release Class 10, 12 board exam 2026 datesheet soon

    The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) 2026 exam datesheets are set to be released soon on the official website, mahahsscboard.in, so students gearing up for the Maharashtra State Board exams should stay vigilant.

    Following historical patterns, the exams are likely to be conducted in February–March 2026, with practical examinations scheduled earlier, in January – February 2026.

    REGISTRATION DATES FOR SSC AND HSC

    The board has already begun the registration process for students:

    • Class 10 (SSC): Registration started on September 15, 2025, and will continue until October 6, 2025.
    • Class 12 (HSC): Registration begins on October 1, 2025, and will close on October 20, 2025.

    Students are advised to complete the registration within the given timeline to avoid any last-minute hassles.

    TENTATIVE EXAM SCHEDULE

    Based on previous years’ trends, the tentative schedule for the 2026 exams is as follows:

    • HSC (Class 12): February 10, 2026 – March 10, 2026
    • SSC (Class 10): February 20, 2026 – March 20, 2026
    • Practical and Oral Exams: Likely to be conducted in January and February 2026

    In 2025, HSC exams were conducted from February 11 to March 11, while SSC exams took place from February 21 to March 17. The MSBSHSE announced the SSC Class 10 results for 2025 on May 13. Sindhudurg topped the state with an impressive pass rate of 99.32%, while Gadchiroli had the lowest at 83.67%. Girls outshone boys in the exams, achieving a pass percentage of 96.14% compared to boys’ 92.31%, highlighting a significant performance gap of 3.83%.

    TIPS FOR BOARD EXAM PREPARATION

    To help students perform their best in the upcoming exams, experts suggest the following:

    1. Plan your revision: Prioritise key chapters and formulas. Avoid last-minute cramming.
    2. Practice past papers: Solve previous years’ question papers to get familiar with exam patterns.
    3. Focus on practical and viva: Complete practical notebooks ahead of time and revise for viva exams.
    4. Healthy routine: Get adequate sleep, eat a balanced diet, and take short breaks to manage stress.
    5. Time management: Allocate study hours effectively between subjects to cover the entire syllabus.

    Students are urged to stay updated with official announcements and begin their revision strategy early to ensure a smooth and stress-free board exam experience.
