In last weekend’s episode, the two groups locked horns again, leading to Amaal being portrayed in a negative light. Following that, his mother came to his support, potentially criticising the people responsible for the misunderstanding surrounding her son.
Amaal Mallik’s mother warns him of people ‘who have no human values’
In the latest weekend’s captaincy task, singer-songwriter and Bigg Boss 19 contestant, Amaal Mallik, faced serious allegations of making derogatory comments and gestures regarding a woman. After Amaal’s name was cleared of the accusations on Weekend ka Vaar, his mother, Jyothi Malik, took to Instagram to share a post dedicated to her son. It included her cautionary words for Amaal regarding not getting involved with people who have ‘no human values’ and were trying to bring him down.
She praised Amaal, mentioning how proud she was of him and wanted him to stay true to himself, continuing to play the game with the innocence of his heart. As Jyothi Malik’s comment came right after Amaal was facing a dire situation due to Kunickaa’s instigation, Amaal’s mother likely referred to her in the post about people without integrity. The post can be read as:
“SOOOO PROUDDDD OF you my darling @amaal_mallik !!! Be the way you are true and Innocent at heart! Don’t even speak to people who have NO human values LOVE YOU !!! MISSING YOU.”
How did Kunickaa instigate a fight between Amaal Mallik and Abhishek Bajaj?
The conflict began during a captaincy task when Amaal Mallik and Abhishek Bajaj got into a verbal argument. At that time, some sarcastic comments were made about Ashnoor Kaur, and Abhishek reacted on his friend’s behalf. Amaal made a light-hearted remark, which meant that whenever something sardonic was said to Ashnoor, it triggered Abhishek. Both Abhishek and Ashnoor couldn’t hear the comment properly, and Kunickaa informed the housemates that Amaal had made a demeaning and suggestive comment about Ashnoor.
Kunickaa also referenced a hand gesture that Amaal had allegedly made, and the entire incident was interpreted in a way that suggested Amaal was being disrespectful to a woman. Fuelled by Kunickaa’s interpretation of the events, Abhishek and Amaal had a major physical confrontation. The issue was addressed by BB19 host, Salman Khan on Weekend ka Vaar, and Kunickaa was accused of creating an unnecessary feud among the housemates by misinterpreting the situation.
Amaal Mallik’s brother, Armaan Malik, accused BB19 of portraying the former in a bad light
It was not the first time Amaal’s actions had been interpreted in the wrong way. On several previous occasions, similar incidents occurred, and his younger brother, Armaan Malik, voiced his opinion regarding the same. He defended Amaal, saying that BB19‘s editing made Amaal look bad, as only his aggressive reactions were being put out, and the instigating actions of people behind them were being edited out. Armaan took to X (formerly Twitter) to share:
“The way they edit promos to make Amaal look like he’s wrong, and then hide how others are provoking and misbehaving, is actually insane. This show and its toxicity are exhausting. Never liked it, never will. Just praying my brother stays healthy and sane through all this.”
