Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh attended the 2025 NBA Pre-Season Game 2 between the Philadelphia 76ers and the New York Knicks in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on Saturday, 4 October. The game took place at the Etihad Arena and featured several global celebrities and top athletes in attendance.

Ranveer was spotted courtside, interacting with Hollywood actor Adrien Brody, NBA players, and other well-known personalities. He was seen sharing a warm hug with New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns and was also photographed chatting with Brody, actor-singer Victoria Justice, and Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid.
Dressed in a sleek all-black outfit with a jacket, matching pants, and sunglasses, Ranveer also showcased a new hairstyle at the event. One photo captured him pointing something out to Victoria Justice as they sat together, while another showed him shaking hands with Joel Embiid. He also posed for pictures with Indian rapper Badshah and Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan.
NBA India posted a video on social media showing Ranveer’s friendly moment with Karl-Anthony Towns. In the clip, the two greeted each other with a hug and shared a brief conversation. Fans responded enthusiastically, leaving comments such as “The crossover I didn’t know I needed” and “Game recognise game. Hell yeah.” Ranveer later reposted the video, captioning it, “KATS MY GUYYY!” — referring to Towns. The pair previously went viral during the 2023 NBA Abu Dhabi Games when Ranveer taught the basketball star a few dance moves, winning over fans online.
Ranveer Singh’s Upcoming Film
On the professional front, Ranveer Singh will next appear in Dhurandhar, a spy thriller directed by Aditya Dhar. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Sara Arjun. Dhurandhar is scheduled for theatrical release on December 5, 2025.
