Samay Raina posted an IG story, wherein he was seen on a FaceTime with Yuzvendra Chahal. He tagged Yuzi as ‘Sugar Daddy’ while wearing a t-shirt which had the inscription ‘Be Your Own Sugar Daddy’. Well, Yuzi reacted to this by re-sharing the story with a caption, which could be read as, ‘Be ready for one more case.’ As it seemed now, Dhanashree took a dig at the same. She took to her Instagram handle and posted a story featuring a photo of her pet dog, with a caption stating that her ‘samay’ is going pretty well. Dhanashree’s post garnered attention as it came just after Samay Raina’s harsh comments about her. Her caption could be read as:
“Don’t worry guys meri mumma ka acha samay hi chal raha hai.”

Dhanashree Verma, who is currently in Rise and Fall, alleged that she got cheated in her marriage only after two months. Following this, Samay Raina and RJ Mahvash dropped a promotional video for a cosmetics brand. In the video, Samay was seen taking some indirect digs at Dhanashree. From talking about the alimony amount to her claims on the show that she got cheated in two months, Samay raised eyebrows with his comments. He also teased Mahvash by stating that her favourite alphabets are ‘U Z’. He also wore a t-shirt with the inscription ‘Be your own sugar daddy.’ Samay then shared the screenshot of FaceTime that featured Yuzi, by tagging the cricketer as ‘Sugar Daddy’.

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra’s divorce final hearing was in March 2025, when he donned a shirt with the inscription ‘Be Your Own Sugar Daddy’. The print on his t-shirt caused a stir, as speculation about a Rs. 60 crore alimony was already rife back then. Well, a few weeks ago, when Dhanashree was asked about the same. She stated that she was mentally prepared for ending her relationship with Yuzi, but she couldn’t stop shedding tears when the divorce was finalised.
Dhanashree further shared that after leaving the court, she discovered Yuzi’s t-shirt drama, and something shifted within her; she stopped crying, as she thought it was pointless. When the interviewer revealed that Yuzi wanted to convey a message by wearing that t-shirt, as claimed by him, Dhanashree jokingly added that the cricketer could have sent a WhatsApp message, for that matter.
