Bollywood actor, Arjun Kapoor, is filled with emotions as his sister, Anshula Kapoor and her fiance, Rohan Thakkar, had their Gor Dhana ritual. The actor took to his Instagram handle to share a moving note, where he accepted that she would be leaving him soon and going her own path with Rohan. For the uninitiated, the Gor Dhana ceremony is akin to a pre-wedding ceremony, similar to an engagement. It is a traditional Gujarati ritual, and Arjun is brimming with emotions.

It was on October 2, 2025, when Anshula and Rohan had their Gor Dhana ritual. Arjun, a few days later, a while back on October 4, 2025, took to his Instagram handle to pen a happy yet emotional note for his sister. He wrote of being happy for her, but also the fact that he is missing his mom, the late, Mona Shourie Kapoor, a bit more. The actor wrote that he has started to accept that his sister, Anshula, will soon leave him and remembering his maa shared:
“I guess it’s time I start accepting that you’ll be leaving me and going your own way soon… it’s gonna break me a little, but I also know you’re going to be with someone who can make you smile…even if not quite as much as me…but he’ll still do a great job. I miss Mom even more now… but I know she’s watching over you, helping you find Rohan, and guiding you with her divine touch. Trust in her watchful eye and be happy.”

Arjun, who has been emotional as Anshula will soon be married to Rohan, has received love from his fans for his teary note. Arjun had posted a carousel of random snaps from the Gor Dhana celebrations of his sister, Anshula and Rohan as the entire family came together for the celebrations. For the unversed, Anshula and Rohan’s love story started in 2022, when they met on a dating app. Well, for Arjun, his sister will always be his ‘partner in crime’ as his note also read:
“From being my partner in crime to finding your forever partner, my Ansh is all grown up (heart emoji) All my love and warmest wishes to you both as you begin this new chapter. Welcome to the family, @rohanthakkar1511 … you’re in for a ride.”
Anshula earlier in a post shared that her first chat with Rohan had started around 1.15 a.m. on a random Tuesday, and then they ended up talking till 6 a.m. She shared that it had felt like the beginning of something truly meaningful. In her note, she had also shared how, in 2025, back in her favourite city, in front of the castle at Central Park, Rohan proposed to her at exactly 1.15 a.m. India time.
