Dhanashree Verma, who was married to Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, is now being seen in Ashneer Grover’s hosted reality show called Rise and Fall. The new reality show has many personalities from social media. Dhanashree has been discussing the issues in her relationship openly and frankly. Recently she shared how her marriage with Yuzi was like an arranged one as he wanted to marry her soon post their meeting.
Dhanashree Verma shares meeting with Yuzvendra Chahal for an arranged marriage
Choreographer, Dhanashree, became emotional when she was talking to actor, Arjiun Bijlani, related to her ex-husband, Yuzi. During the chat, she shared that she had always been concerned about Chahal and that the care would never go away, even after the marriage ended. When Arjun asked Dhanashree about her marriage, she revealed how it was like an arranged cum love marriage. Dhanashree added how the love she received from him made her decide to get married soon and shared:
“It was love and arranged both. It started off as an arranged marriage. Basically, he wanted to get married without dating, and I wasn’t even planning for anything like that. I got convinced due to the amount of love that was poured into the whole process. We did our Roka (engagement) in August, and then we got married in December. During that time, I travelled with him, and we stayed together. I started seeing subtle changes in his behaviour. There is a difference between how people act when they want something compared to when they get it.”
Dhanashree even added that she saw Yuzi changing, and despite the same, she put full trust into the relationship. Dhanashree shared that her problem was that she has always given love many chances, and also to people who have been around her. However, she is now done with all as Dhanashree shared of giving her 100 per cent from her side. She also added that she had always been concerned for Yuzi, which she said with a great deal of certainty.
Dhanashree Verma shares how she and Yuzvendra could not save their marriage
Dhanashree, in an earlier episode, spoke to Kubbra Sait about the point when she came to the realisation that her relationship with Yuzi could not be saved. She shared that it was in the first year of their marriage when she caught him in the second month. Chahal reportedly claimed not to have had an affair when he was married to Dhanashree. He, in an earlier interview with Raj Shamani on his podcast, shared:
“After the divorce happened, it occurred to me that people think I’m a cheater. And I have never cheated in my life. I am not that person. You won’t find someone more loyal than me. I always think from my heart for my loved ones.”
Dhanashree had also spoken earlier about Yuzi in another podcast, sharing how she was trolled due to their split and the alleged alimony payment related to Chahal. She revealed that it had been a year since the divorce, which had occurred quickly, as it was mutual. She revealed how her silence was taken for granted and Dhanashree added:
“That’s why when people say alimony, it’s wrong. Just because I am not saying anything, you will go on saying anything? My parents have taught me to only justify to people whom I care about. Why waste time explaining those who don’t even know you?”
