Vicky Kaushal is celebrating a major milestone — 10 years since he made his debut in the Indian film industry. Reflecting on his journey, the actor expressed heartfelt gratitude for the filmmakers who played a pivotal role in shaping his career and helping him evolve as a performer.

In a recent interaction, Vicky shared, “I’m very grateful to have worked with directors who are first-timers and veterans.” He fondly spoke about the opportunity to learn from some of the finest creative minds in the industry, particularly mentioning Sanjay Leela Bhansali, whose approach to filmmaking left a lasting impression on him.
Praising the ace filmmaker, Vicky said, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s scene construction skills are like attending film school.” The actor also expressed admiration for the energy and discipline that directors bring to their sets. “Raju’s dedication to writing and the energy he brings to sets,” he added, acknowledging the collaborative spirit that makes each project special.
He went on to credit several other directors who have contributed to his artistic growth, saying, “I credit my directors, including Anand Tiwari, Lakshman, Mozes Singh, and Neeraj Ghaywan, as very special to me.”
Interestingly, Vicky’s career came full circle this year as his debut film Masaan — directed by Neeraj Ghaywan — completed a decade. The 2015 drama, which also featured Shweta Tripathi and Richa Chadha, not only earned critical acclaim but also won accolades at the Cannes Film Festival, marking a proud moment for Indian cinema.
Over the years, Vicky Kaushal has delivered powerhouse performances in films like Uri: The Surgical Strike, Raazi, and Chhaava, earning a reputation as one of the most versatile actors of his generation.
Looking ahead, the actor is gearing up for Love & War, his much-anticipated collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film will also reunite him with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, marking a grand cinematic ensemble that fans are eagerly awaiting. The film is expected to hit theatres in March 2026.
