A woman at Charlapally Railway Station in Telangana narrowly escaped a serious accident after slipping while trying to board a moving train.
The incident, caught on camera, shows the woman losing her balance and falling dangerously close to the gap between the train and the platform. In a split second, a female railway constable rushed forward, grabbed her hand, pulled her to safety and prevented what could have been a major tragedy.
A video of the rescue has since gone viral on social media, with users praising the constable’s quick thinking and presence of mind.

This isn’t the first such incident to draw attention online. In a similar case earlier this year, a 60-year-old woman at Bankura Railway Station in West Bengal also slipped while attempting to board a moving train. She, too, was rescued in time by RPF officers ASI Manish Kumar and Constable Gayatri Biswas.
CCTV footage from that incident showed the officers pulling her up seconds before she could have fallen onto the tracks.
