Rahul Vaidya has been hogging the limelight after he called India’s top cricketer, Virat Kohli and his fans ‘joker’. The row began when Virat allegedly liked Avneet’s sultry pictures, which went viral on her fan page. The singer who claimed to be blocked by Kohli made a huge outcry about the entire situation. Kohli did issue a clarification related to Avneet’s row, but Rahul, in a post, revealed that the Instagram algorithm may go ahead and like posts that he did not like. He told Kohli not to do PR related to it and sarcastically called it Instagram’s mistake. Now, singer, Abhijeet Sawant took a dig at Rahul and spoke about how he has been an attention seeker.
Abhijeet Sawant slams Rahul Vaidya and shares how the singer likes attention
Abhijeet, the winner of Indian Idol Season 1, sat down for an interview with the Hindi Rush and spoke about the Rahul-Virat Kohli row. He said that whatever the singer was doing did not make sense. Abhijeet revealed that Rahul always wanted to be in the limelight and would even give importance to things that were not even relevant. Abhijeet said:
“He is somebody who will never go unnoticed. Somebody has this habit of not going unnoticed, he will try to do something to get noticed. Mujhe relevant bhi nahi lagti yeh cheeze. Uska koi matlab nahi hai. Somebody has this habit of not going unnoticed, he will try to do something to get noticed.”
Abhijeet also shared that Rahul was creating a hill out of a mole and he is shocked to see why nobody is commenting on the incident from the entertainment industry. However, he did agree that there are a few people who like to be in this kind of limelight, so they keep PR’s for the same. Abhijeet did not take names but indirectly said that he never wanted to do something like Rahul did. It is interesting to note that Abhijeet was the winner of Indian Idol while Rahul Vaidya became the second runner-up of the singing reality show.
Rahul Vaidya shares that Virat Kohli unblocked him
Earlier, Rahul in his stories took a dig at Virat and shared that maybe due to an Instagram glitch, he was blocked by the cricketer. However, now it looks like Rahul and Virat’s alleged feud has ended as the singer has been unblocked by Kohli. It seems like the cricketer blocked the singer for a very long time. Rahul, now on his Instagram stories, penned:
“Thanks, Virat Kohli, for unblocking me. You are one of the best batsmen cricket has ever seen and aap India ka garv ho! Jai Hind. God bless you and your family.”
For the uninitiated, after Rahul called Virat’s fans ‘jokers’ on social media, the singer was slammed by them. He shared that his wife, sister also faced abuse apart from him. Rahul shared that neither of them had anything to do with the full situation. He called Kohli’s fans as, ‘2 kaudi ke jokers’. Virat has maintained his calm, composure and has kept a pin-drop silence on the entire situation. He did not react to any of the accusations that were made by Rahul.
