    Launched This Week: Portronics Pico 14, Skullcandy Uproar TWS and 3 more gadgets

    This week was all about chill vibes filled with good food, festive spirit, and making plans for the long weekend. The tech world, too, seemed to slip into a quieter mood, but that didn’t mean launches came to a halt. Brands like Acerpure, Portronics, Noise, Skullcandy, and Unix kept the momentum going with new gadgets across home entertainment and wearables. As always, it’s Friday and we are back again with a quick round-up, so you don’t miss out on the latest in tech.

    Acerpure Neo TV series

    The festive season is often when people look to upgrade their home entertainment. And to give options, Acerpure has jumped right in with its new Neo series smart TVs. The line-up includes Aspire Neo, Swift Neo 4K LED, and the flagship Elevate Neo QLED, ranging from 32 to 65 inches. Running on Google TV 5.0 with Android 14, the series offers Dolby-powered audio, up to 1.07 billion colours, gaming features like ALLM, VRR, and MEMC, along with lifestyle modes such as Filmmaker Mode, AI Content Creator, and Karaoke. The Aspire Neo is aimed at the first-time smart TV buyers with Dolby Audio and 30W speakers, the Swift Neo brings 4K visuals and Dolby Atmos with 2GB RAM, while the Elevate Neo QLED adds Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, QLED brilliance, and a 40W speaker system. Connectivity includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Chromecast, HDMI 2.0, USB ports, and Bluetooth.

    The Acerpure Neo Series starts at Rs 22,499, with models available via Amazon and the Acerpure online store.

    Noise Junior Explorer 2 and Noise Junior Champ 3

    This month we got a lot of new smartwatch options for adults. But this time Noise has got something for the juniors. Noise has expanded its kids-focused wearable line-up with the launch of Noise Junior Explorer 2 and Noise Junior Champ 3 smartwatches. According to the brand, these smartwatches are designed in collaboration with Indian parents to balance safety, learning, and independence.

    The Noise Explorer 2 smartwatch is equipped with real-time GPS tracking powered by a Unisoc chipset, Google Maps integration, geo-fenced safety zones, SOS calling, auto call pickup, and two-way HD video and voice calling over 4G LTE. It also features a family chat hub, call whitelisting, video call encryption, and a fun “bump to add a friend” option to offer kids safe social interactions.

    Noise Junior Champ 3

    The Noise Junior Champ 3 meanwhile, focuses on learning and self-management with a built-in hub of educational games, educards, quizzes, and wellness tracking. It also offers a smart scheduler, exam mode, parental controls, and a colourful squircle dial design with swappable bumpers, aimed at nurturing routines and responsibility in kids.

    The Noise Junior Explorer 2 is priced at Rs 5,999 and comes in Pixel Pop and Arctic Frost colour options, while the Noise Junior Champ 3 is priced at Rs 2,999 and is available in Black Blaze, Astro Orbit, Cotton Cloud, and Arctic Storm with customisable bumpers.     Portronics Pico 14 portable full HD projector

    Smart TVs are good, but sometimes you might want that portable flexibility. And for that, Portronics has unveiled the Pico 14. It’s a pocket-sized smart projector designed to offer a portable cinema experience. With a compact 250g build, the device projects visuals up to 100 inches in 720p resolution with 1600 lumens brightness and supports 4K input. Running on Android 13, it comes preloaded with Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and YouTube. The Pico 14 offers a 30,000-hour lamp life, autofocus, keystone correction, optical zoom, auto screen rotation, and auto source detection for easy setup. It includes a 3W speaker, multiple connectivity options (HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, AUX, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4), and a 4800mAh battery offering up to 60 minutes of wireless playback, making it suitable for home, office, or outdoor use.

    Skullcandy Uproar TWS

    This week also brought something for buyers looking for options in the TWS earbuds category. Skullcandy has introduced the Uproar true wireless earbuds. Equipped with 10mm drivers, the earbuds promise punchy, immersive audio, while quad microphones with Environmental Noise Cancellation offer clear voice calls even in noisy surroundings. The Uproar TWS supports Bluetooth 5.4 for stable connectivity, multipoint pairing, touch controls, and low-latency performance, alongside sweat and water resistance for active use. It also offers a fast-charge feature that delivers two hours of playtime with just 10 minutes of charging via Type-C, making it suitable for travel and workouts.

    The Skullcandy Uproar TWS is priced at Rs 2,499 (launch offer) and comes in a premium Black Matte finish. It is available for purchase through Skullcandy’s official website, Amazon, and select retail partners across India.

    Unix Amor Neckband

    If TWS is not your comfort zone and you are looking for the same old traditional style, there’s something from Unix. The brand has launched the Amor Neckband (UX-480), which comes with an LCD display, karaoke mode, and even voice-changing effects, targeting both regular users and content creators. It offers up to 90 hours of playback on a single charge and supports Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) for clearer calls, five equaliser presets, and ultra-low latency for gaming and streaming. Powered by Bluetooth 5.4 with 10.2mm drivers, the device supports TF card playback, auto on/off magnetic earbuds, and Type-C fast charging.

    Unix Amor Neckband

    While the neckband packs solid features, it is priced at a rather affordable Rs 1,299 and comes with a 12-month warranty. It is available in Black, Blue, and Pink through Unix’s official website, retail outlets, and major e-commerce platforms across India.
