Peloton is moving beyond its core competency of cardio fitness to embrace the red-hot wellness space.
The connected fitness company on Wednesday unveiled a slate of products and training offerings to advance its mission of supporting the total well-being of its 6 million members.
In addition to updated equipment, the company is introducing an AI-powered platform called Peloton IQ that will provide individualized guidance designed to address the demand for cross-training. As of the fourth quarter of 2025, two million members are actively strength training on the platform, the company said.
At the same time, Peloton is introducing wellness programming with partners that include Respin Health, the Halle Berry-founded company that focuses on menopause care. On Oct. 6, Peloton and Respi will release an eight-week program featuring Peloton classes that specifically target symptom relief and overall quality of life improvement for menopausal people. That includes programming co-created by Peloton instructors Christine D’Ercole, Susie Chan, Joslyn Thompson Rule and Charlotte Weidenbach.
Additionally, Respin and Peloton members will be offered the opportunity to participate in a Respin research study on the effects of movement on perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
In addition to Respin, Peloton is partnering with the Hospital for Special Surgery, the world’s leading orthopedic hospital, to launch five collections focused on runner’s knee, new mothers, office workers, tennis elbow and bone health. Those classes will launch Oct. 20.
The third partner is Hyrox, a popular global fitness race that combines 8 kilometers of running with eight functional workout stations. Weekly Peloton x Hyrox classes launched Monday to help members train for upcoming events.
Separately, Peloton is launching a cross-training series for its bike, bike+, tread, tread+ and row+ equipment that will feature a swivel screen to allow members to switch from a cardio workout to strength, yoga, Pilates, barre and other activities. The updated equipment offers a built-in movement tracking camera that will use AI for personalized guidance suggestions, enhanced speakers by Sonos, hands-free control, a three-speed fan, a phone tray and a new, more comfortable seat for the bikes.
“This is the start of a new chapter for Peloton,” said Peloton chief executive officer Peter Stern. “We’re doubling the value of our hardware with the cross-training series by delivering world-class cardio and strength in a single machine. With Peloton IQ, we’re introducing a new level of intelligent personalization to become the ultimate partner in our members’ wellness journeys. This is more than an upgrade; it’s a relaunch.”
These changes will result in an increased cost with the All-Access Membership going up to $49.99 a month from $44 and the App+ monthly membership increasing to $28.99 from $24 and the App One Membership to $15.99 from $12.99 beginning in October.
