Paris and Tyson Fury’s little angel, Venezuela Fury, got a surprising proposal at her sweet 16th birthday party when her boyfriend, Noah Price, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. However, the internet was left divided on their engagement at such an early age, with some being happy for the couple to have found love, while others expressed that it was bizarre. Nonetheless, Venezuela’s father has reacted to the entire fiasco, and he is not letting the internet mess with his daughter’s happiness.
Tyson Fury reacts to criticism over his daughter, Venezuela’s engagement
Former boxing heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has finally responded to criticism surrounding his teenage daughter, Venezuela Fury’s engagement by posting a video about traditional marriage values on Instagram. The doting father took to his social media account on September 30, 2025 (ET) and shared content from an Islamic reflections account after facing backlash over Venezuela’s engagement at just 16 years old.
The video, which was created by Minaret Minds, drew comparisons between past generations who got married. It stated how people would get married and stay married till their dying breath, while people today give up on marriage at the slightest inconvenience. The video highlighted how previous generations had nothing but built everything together, while couples in the modern world have everything but can’t build anything together. The video could be quoted as saying:
“50 years ago, people got married at 18 and stayed together until death. Today, people wait until 30 to get married and divorce within three years.”
The video further contrasted two grandparents who ‘shared one small room and called it paradise’ versus a modern couple who owned ‘five-bedroom houses and called them prisons.’ It suggested that society today viewed ‘commitment’ as ‘settling’ and ‘running away’ as ‘finding yourself’. It even questioned people who were convinced that ‘love expires’ or that marriage was a real-life Disney movie every day.

While Tyson Fury didn’t directly address the concerns raised by fans about his daughter’s age when her engagement to amateur boxer Noah Price was announced during her birthday celebrations last week, it wouldn’t be wrong to assume that he was responding to them.
Venezuela Fury got engaged to Noah Price on her 16th birthday
Paris and Tyson Fury’s 16-year-old daughter, Venezuela, is engaged to her boyfriend, Noah Price, a boxer. The mother of seven, Paris, 35, revealed the news on her Instagram account on September 27, 2025, posting a video of the moment Noah proposed to Venezuela during her sweet 16th birthday party. The engagement comes just weeks after Venezuela and Noah made their relationship public on Instagram.
Venezuela’s mom, Paris Fury, was left in shock by the proposal
In the same post, Paris Fury shared her shock over the sudden proposal. While she herself got married at 19, her daughter has only just turned 16. However, she admitted that when one knows, they know. She added that while she was shocked, both she and her husband, Tyson, were happy for their little girl. The caption was quoted as saying:
“Congratulations to @venezuelafuryofficial and @7noahprice on getting engaged. Both are only young, but when you know, you know! Still in shock but very happy for you both. Your Dad and I couldn’t be prouder xxx @tysonfury.”
