A video of a bizarre incident from Punjab’s Mohali has gone viral on social media in which a man is urinating on a roadside divider near a traffic light and moments later his car accidentally rams into the car in front of his vehicle. The video was seemingly recorded by a commuter from behind.
The video, posted on the subreddit ‘r/IndianCivicFails’, came with the title: “Man urinates in the middle of traffic, and then hits the car in front of his vehicle.”
According to the Reddit user, the man had stepped out of his vehicle to relieve himself on the divider, but seemingly left his gear in drive. As he attempted to get back inside, the car inched forward and collided with the vehicle parked just ahead.
The second half of the video shows a person, presumably the owner of the car that got hit, walking up to confront the man over the incident, while the chaotic sequence left viewers baffled.

Social media users instantly condemned the incident as the flooded the comments section with disbelief at the man’s apparent lack of civic sense.
“The government should take a step in punishing people like him,” a user said, while another added, “I would not think twice before kicking people like these out of the country.”
The thread also led to a broader debate, with several users calling for better laws and public awareness campaigns to prevent similar reckless behaviour on roads.
This is not the first time such an incident has made headlines. Earlier in August, a video of a Delhi Metro passenger urinating on the tracks went viral.
