The actress took to social media to share glimpses from her visit to the pandal, where she was seen soaking in the spirit of the festival alongside family and friends.

In her post, Kajol shared solo pictures along with candid shots featuring her cousin and fellow actress Rani Mukerji, as well as filmmaker Ayan Mukerji. The series highlighted the warmth of togetherness while also reflecting on the challenges of the past year.
Sharing the photos, Kajol expressed her feelings in a moving caption, “The unveiling .. such an emotional moment.. to step on the pandal after this past year and all our losses, somehow it was dearer and at the same time so tough to do.. we miss them all.”
The actress, who has always been closely connected to her Bengali roots, often participates in Durga Puja festivities with her family. Her latest post drew warm reactions from fans and colleagues alike, with many sending love and strength in the comments section.
On the work front, Kajol was last seen in the supernatural horror thriller Maa. She also appeared in the second season of her series The Trial, an adaptation of Robert and Michelle King’s The Good Wife. In the show, Kajol plays lawyer Noyonika Sengupta, with Jisshu Sengupta, Alyy Khan, Sheeba Chaddha, Kubbra Sait, and Gaurav Pandey in key roles. The series premiered on JioHotstar on September 19.
Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji recently attended the National Film Awards in New Delhi, where she received the Best Actress award for her role in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. At the event, she was seen seated alongside Shah Rukh Khan, who won Best Actor for Jawan, and Vikrant Massey, who was honoured for 12th Fail.
