I’m always excited to see a debut collection from a new designer at a house, but Louise Trotter’s at Bottega Veneta is going to be a bit more personal for me. We were at college together; she was doing fashion, and I was doing art and design history, at Newcastle Polytechnic, Alma Mater of Jonny Ive. I’m sure she spent as many nights as I did at Club Determination at Rockshots, grooving away. I won’t say how long ago that was. You’re going to make Newcastle Poly proud, Louise!
