In a candid disclosure, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif confirmed that India carried out a series of precision strikes on key Pakistani military sites, including the Nur Khan Air Base, in the early hours of May 7 under “Operation Sindoor.”

Sharif revealed that he was alerted at 2:30 AM by Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir, moments after the Indian operation began.

“General Munir called me personally at 2:30 in the morning to inform me about the strikes. It was a moment of grave concern,” Sharif told reporters in Islamabad.

Amit Malviya, the head of the BJP’s National IT Department, sharing the video on X, described the event as a testament to the boldness and efficiency of Operation Sindoor.

“Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif himself admits that General Asim Munir called him at 2:30 a.m. to inform him that India had bombed Nur Khan Air Base and several other locations. Let that sink in — the Prime Minister was woken up in the middle of the night with news of strikes deep inside Pakistan. This speaks volumes about the scale, precision, and boldness of “Operation Sindoor,” Malviya wrote.

India’s strikes were a response to the deadly April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which killed 26 people. Indian officials had blamed Pakistan-based groups for the assault and vowed retaliation.

Over the next three days, Pakistan attempted to target Indian military bases in retaliatory drone and missile strikes on May 8, 9, and 10. Indian forces responded with overwhelming firepower, targeting multiple Pakistani military installations in what was described as “measured but decisive retaliation.”

India and Pakistan reached an understanding on May 10 to end the military confrontation after four days of intense cross-border drone and missile strikes.
