Deepika Padukone has been lately received a lot of flak for her non-negotiable stance regarding the projects being offered to her.

Deepika Padukone to shoot sequel to XXX: Return of Xander Cage in Mumbai

Turns out, she has a very clear strategy planned for her journey ahead.

Over to a very close friend of the actress, “She has hired one of the top Hollywood agencies to look after her work. She’s an eyeing an international career.”

This is not the first time that Deepika is looking westwards to extend her stardom. Back in 2017, Deepika made her Hollywood debut with XXX: Return Of Xander Cage with Vin Diesel.

We can now confirm that Ms Padukone will headline the sequel to Diesel’s 2017 film, which will be shot in Mumbai, apparently on the actress’ request, as she didn’t want to fly out of India with her daughter being so young. The action film will be shot in Mumbai in a start-to-finish stretch.

This is not the first international offer Deepika has received since XXX: Return Of Xander Cage. She said no to the third season of the prestigious series The White Lotus in favour of motherhood.

Now, she will take on to the West, on her own terms, it seems.
