Drama never takes a backseat in the Bigg Boss house, and the latest episode of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show was no exception. What started as a captaincy task soon spiraled into a heated confrontation when a two-week-old clip resurfaced, showing Baseer Ali and Amaal Mallik accusing fellow contestant Awez Darbar of cheating on his girlfriend, content creator Nagma Mirajkar.

The task that opened Pandora’s box
For the final task to become a contender in the captaincy race, Bigg Boss arranged a special movie night for contestants Abhishek Bajaj, Kunickaa Sadanand, Gaurav Khanna, and Awez Darbar. The twist — clips of housemates’ past conversations were screened, followed by questions.
The first clip, featuring Gaurav Khanna and Mridul Tiwari discussing Tanya Mittal, raised eyebrows but didn’t create much of a storm. The second, however, set the house on fire. It showed Baseer Ali, Amaal Mallik, Zeishan Qadari, and Shehbaaz Badesha gossiping, with Baseer and Amaal accusing Awez of infidelity behind his back.
The revelation left Awez visibly shaken and in tears, though he chose not to lash out immediately. Instead, he confronted the issue later with a calmer mind.
Baseer and Amaal issue an apology
Addressing the matter, Baseer Ali explained, “Whatever conversation happened between Amaal, Zeishan, and me was out of pure aggression. In the flow of emotions, we said things that were baseless and unnecessary. Whatever I knew was through a third person, and some things were miscommunicated. Now, I have better clarity and want to put an end to it.”
He went on to issue a personal apology to Awez: “If this has hurt your image, family, your reputation, and your future with Nagma, I am very sorry and hope you can forgive me.” Baseer didn’t stop there — he also apologised directly to Nagma and her family, calling Awez “the perfect guy” for her.
Amaal Mallik, too, joined in to apologise to Awez, admitting that the remarks made during the conversation were unnecessary and unfair.
Amidst all the drama, Bigg Boss announced the names of the contestants nominated this week — Pranit More, Ashnoor Kaur, Gaurav Khanna, Awez Darbar, Neelam Giri, and Mridul Tiwari. Meanwhile, the captaincy race is now down to Gaurav Khanna and Farhana Bhat, with the new house leader set to be revealed in today’s episode.
