Jennifer Scavino got married to White House social media director Dan Scavino in 2000. However, their marriage ended after 18 years of togetherness. Although the reason for their divorce is unknown, it was his wife who initiated the filing. There is not much about his ex-wife that is in the public domain, except the fact that she is Jewish. The ex-couple also has two sons from their 18-year-long marriage.
During their marriage, the ex-couple had filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy after racking up medical bills due to Jennifer Scavino’s chronic Lyme disease. In a 2015 Twitter post, Dan had praised his then-wife for fighting the awful neurological disease and called her his ‘hero’. He wrote:
“My amazing wife, Jennifer has Chronic Inflammatory Polyneuropathy Disease from a tick, resulting in Lyme disease. We are both 39 years old. 10 years of this awful neurological disease, she is my hero. Not once feeling sorry for herself or really even talking about it outside of our home. While I had to leave my career, I have and will be with her every step of the way. Today is treatment day. Thoughts & prayers to everyone & anyone with neurological disease.”

Dan Scavino’s dreamy proposal to his girlfriend, Erin M. Elmore, after seven years of divorce from his first wife
Scavino and Elmore took to their respective Instagram handles and posted a video. In the clip, the two were walking in the White House grounds. At a point, they both stopped with Erin’s back facing Dan, and he took it as an opportunity and went down on his knees. He slid his hand into his pocket to surprise Erin with a huge diamond ring. The moment Erin turned around, she was left in awe.
Erin covered her face and gasped for breath as she didn’t expect the proposal from Dan. Filled with overwhelming emotions, she went on to kiss Dan, giving a romantic nod to the proposal. After which, Dan made Erin wear the ring, and she flaunted the huge diamond. Dan captioned the video by writing:
“She said YES.”
Talking about their outfits, Erin was dressed in the most chic white-hued A-line dress with floral prints. The outfit featured puff sleeves and a round neck. She styled it with high heels. Subtle makeup and curly hair completed her look. On the other hand, Dan was dressed in a navy blue-hued formal suit.
For the unversed, Erin Elmore is the State Department director of Art in Embassies. She joined the position in April 2025. Erin earned a law degree from Villanova University and graduated with degrees in broadcasting and political science from the University of Miami in Florida. She is also an attorney, journalist and philanthropist and has dedicated her life to the arts in the USA. Erin Enmore was previously married to actor Craig M. Spitzer, and they also have a child together.
