The couple had their haldi celebrations on September 25, 2025, on the sets of the TV reality show, Pati, Patni Aur Panga. For the ceremony, Avika dazzled in a gorgeous all-blue lehenga, while Milind looked handsome in a black shimmery tuxedo. Contestants of the show were seen playfully smearing haldi on the duo, adding fun to their dreamy environment. Karan Kundrra and his girlfriend, Tejasswi Prakash, also joined the celebrations, along with the couple’s family, the hosts and contestants of the show, Pati, Patni Aur Panga.
When Avika Gor revealed why she had decided to marry on national television
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the bride-to-be, Avika, revealed that she chose to marry on national television because she wanted her audience to be a part of the special moment. Avika mentioned that she has been in the public eye since 2008, and the love and blessings she got are truly overwhelming. She recalled a childhood memory when she used to tell her parents that she would either have a court marriage or a big fat wedding. Avika expressed that the celebration is nothing but a childhood dream coming true. In her words:
“I’ve been in the public eye since 2008, and the love and blessings I’ve received from people have been overwhelming. I wanted my audience, who have been such an important part of my journey, to also be a part of this special moment. I always used to tell my parents, ‘I will either do a court marriage that no one will get to know about, or it’s going to be a grand wedding that the whole world will celebrate with me.’ It’s like my childhood dream is coming true with this new chapter.”

TV actress, Avika Gor and social activist, Milind Chandwani first met in Hyderabad in 2020 through mutual friends. While Avika felt an instant connection, Milind kept things in the friend zone for six months. During a chat with Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa, Avika once shared that Milind wanted to build a strong friendship before starting a romantic relationship.
However, after maintaining a relationship for more than 4 years, Avika announced their roka and engagement on Instagram on June 11, 2025. She posted some dreamy pictures from the celebration, where she looked elegant in a pastel pink saree. Sharing her joy, Avika wrote:
“He asked. I smiled, I cried and screamed the easiest YES of my life! I’m full of filmy — background score, slow-mo dreams, mascara running and all. He’s logical, calm, and ‘let’s carry a first-aid kit just in case.’ So when he asked, the heroine in me took over — arms in the air, tears in my eyes, and zero network in my brain.
