Catherine Zeta-Jones brought a hit of playfulness to the green on Wednesday, teeing off at the Ryder Cup Celebrity All-Star Match in Farmingdale, N.Y. Playing for Team Europe, the actress laced into the brand’s Gallivan2r Side Stripe Kiltie Golf Shoe in a crisp snow-and-twilight palette.
The $195 style mixes classic golf codes with modern tweaks: smooth white uppers trimmed in navy, a detachable kiltie fringe at the laces, and a sole studded with bubblegum-pink, sky-blues and black traction pods. The color-pop base is more than just aesthetic — it houses G/Fore’s g/Pod system, built to keep players stable throughout their game.

Zeta-Jones went tonal in navy for the rest of her look, pairing a fitted polo with tapered trousers and a visor, finishing with black gloves. Small gold hoops added subtle polish.
For G/Fore, the Gallivan2r underscores the brand’s push to offer styles that straddle traditional polish and athletic ease. “We wanted to provide the professional golfer with a more athletic-looking option that compares to the Gallivan2r G/Lock — the more traditional looking style,” founder Mossimo Giannulli told FN earlier this year in April, when unveiling the MG4+ O2 G/Lock.
That blend of performance and personality has fueled growth for the Los Angeles label. Following openings in Scottsdale, Palm Beach and New York, G/Fore debuted a Beverly Hills flagship this spring — part of a wider expansion that comes as golf participation in the U.S. hits record highs.
At Bethpage Black, Zeta-Jones was joined by Brooklyn Beckham, Tom Felton and Pau Gasol, facing off against an American team that included Eli Manning and John McEnroe. The exhibition teed up the 45th Ryder Cup itself, which begins Friday with Europe looking to defend its 2023 title. The American team will be wearing Ralph Lauren uniforms, which you can see more of below.
